How verification works
Every profile on Rounds Together belongs to a registered doctor. Here is exactly what happens between signing up and your profile going live.
1. Sign in with Google
You create your account with your Google account. We only receive your name and email address from Google.
2. Build your profile
Five short steps cover who you are, your medical journey, your career and schedule, your lifestyle and your photos. Your answers are saved as you go, so you can stop and continue later on any device.
3. Add photos and a live selfie
You add at least one photo that clearly shows your face, and take one live selfie with your camera. The selfie lets us confirm that the person in the photos is really you. It is never shown on your profile.
4. Share your registration details
On the final step you enter your registration number, the State Medical Council you are registered with (or the old MCI registration) and the year you completed your MBBS.
5. We check the NMC register
As soon as you submit, we look up your registration number on the NMC Indian Medical Register and check that the name, and where listed the MBBS year and date of birth, match what you entered. Our team then reviews the result and compares your live selfie with your photos. This usually takes 24 to 48 hours. Until it is done, your profile is not visible to anyone.
6. Your profile goes live
Once approved, you can see your matches and other members can see you. If something does not match, you will see the reason on your status screen and can message us on WhatsApp to sort it out.
Why we verify everyone
Fake and misrepresented profiles are the biggest problem on general matrimony sites. By checking every member against the medical register, everyone you see on Rounds Together is a real, registered doctor. Your registration details are used only for verification and are never shown on your profile.
