1. What we collect and why
We collect your name, date of birth, gender, phone number, religion, location roots, language, marital status, medical qualifications, NMC registration details, income information, lifestyle details, photographs, and a live selfie. This information is collected solely to verify your identity as a registered doctor and to find you compatible matches on Synapse.
2. How it is stored and protected
Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption at rest and in transit. Access is restricted to authorised Synapse personnel only. Photographs are stored privately and never indexed or made publicly accessible.
3. Who can see your data
Only the Synapse team can access your data, and only for the purpose of verifying your profile and ensuring platform integrity. Your profile details (excluding name and contact information) are shown to other verified doctors on the platform as potential matches. You can message your match privately through the in-app chat once both parties have expressed mutual interest.
4. Your right to delete your data
You have the right to request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. To do so, email us at support@synapsedating.xyz with the subject "Data Deletion Request". We will process your request within 7 working days and confirm once all data has been removed from our systems.
